About the Artist:

Born in St Louis, MO
BA from MU, Columbia, MO
 
Moved to KC MO in 1982
Owned house in Waldo for 15 years
Currently residing in Prairie Village, KS
 
Avid amateur photographer for over 25 years. 
The images in the Goodden Jewellers Eclectic Gallery offer a view of KC architecture, including the Firefighters Memorial, WWI memorial and the “Sky Stations” atop Bartel Hall. 
First camera was a 35mm Ricoh. 
Switched to digital in 1999 using a Sony Mavica.  “The Mavica cost over a thousand dollars and stored a handful of 1.3 megapixel images on a 3 ½” floppy disc”. 
Images displayed at Goodden have been taken with a Nikon CP5000 and have been edited using Jasc Paint Shop Pro.

Chief Operating Officer for Sterling Bearing, Inc, where I’ve worked for 23 years. 
Married, two kids, a son at KU and a daughter at Shawnee Mission East HS.

Astronomy – I have an 8” Schmidt-Cassegrain, Celestron, 8i telescope
Youth coach – I’ve coached boys and girls competitive basketball for 15 seasons.
